The breakfasts in fact require further consideration; there is far too much variety to be justified by the number of guests in the hotel, so I am a little puzzled as to where it all goes. I couldn't bring myself to give a 5/5 rating, because it is not somewhere that I will long to go back to, and I suspect that noise could be an issue, with single glazing and hard floors I could hear people moving about, although they were clearly good enough to stop doing so by bedtime as I was not awoken. Our en suite room was adequate in size but the bonus for us were the french windows leading onto a large terrace area which although facing the adjoining hotels and properties at the rear, it did catch the afternoon and evening sun. The tasty buffet breakfast was extensive in both choice and scale .All round the best we ate on our Italian tour. Another special treat for guests was that the breakfast was available up to midday. Hotel Polo does not serve dinner but its location on the "strip" means you do not have to walk too far to find a restaurant offering a menu to suit most requirements. " More >
