She gave us the bus schedules to help us plan our day (without us even asking, I might add). Breakfast was nice and cozy in a little room that has great views of Florence. We loved how convenient it was to Florence and Fiesole. Our best two meals in Italy were in Fiesole. The amenities in the room were top notch. Very comfortable linens, bathroom etc. Love the windows that open onto the street and views of Florence. Also love that the shutters can be closed at night making the room nice and dark for sleeping late (which, of course, happened). I would highly recommend Villa Miralunga!   "We stayed for three nights to attend a wedding in Maiano which is about a 20 minute drive from the hotel. When booking and requesting a taxi Stefano replied that the hotel would take us to the church - uncle Luigi took us in the Hotel minibus and at no cost. This is a real family affair with several..." members of the same family, brothers, aunts, uncles and cousins all involved. The hotel was founded in 1956 by Dino, hence the name. We stayed Fri - Sun nights (Fri at the wedding) but ate in the restaurant on Sat & Sun. The food was excellent by any standard and served in a very efficient and friendly way and the wine offer was also very good at affordable rates. Our room was clean and adequate but the real bonus was the sensational view of the hills and fields towards Fiesole. Service was good all round and after returning late afternoon we asked for coffee and this was brought to our room with a smile - nothing was too much trouble.
