  "We stayed at the Hotel Duomo for two nights. This Hotel is just two minutes from the Duomo and within walking distance to everything possible and Sergio at the front desk is the best front office person we have ever encountered in our travels. He mapped out everything for us and patiently listened..."/answered all of our questions. Since we did not have our next travel leg planned, he took time to look up information on the internet which helped us with our decision making. In addition since our room was not quite ready (we arrived early) he stored our luggage and sent us out to explore. When we returned mid afternoon for our siesta he had already delivered our luggage to our room. In addition I had emailed him before we arrived to help make reservations for a restaurant for Saturday night that is hard to get. He also emailed directions to the hotel from the train station. The location is just inside of the city walls, making it close to everything but far enough away to have “quiet time”. All of the “Reception” staff were very friendly & helpful with excellent English. They made suggestions for dinner and went out of their way to suggest other local day trips. Our room was big and light, with high ceilings, a large window and a traditional Tuscan design, with a nice welcome bottle of Italian wine and fruit waiting for us. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean with nice thick towels. The breakfast had a nice selection of items too, although the juices were not very good.
