  " We were in a privilige room on the top floor - great and spacious. Free soft drinks (4) and coffee machine (4 coffee & 2 teas) in room were replenished daily. Our room was at a massive discounted rate (<65 Euros per night) so exceptional value, maybe not the same if paying full price. Staff were ..."polite and efficient. Decor is generally good, although the late '80's building might not be to everyone's taste. We did not eat at the hotel, but the Thai just outside was excellent. Nearby Muntstraat has a good selection of places to eat. Leuven a good base for visitors - although Thursday nights at the Oude Markt are not the time for a quiet drink. Stella Artois tour (book via Tourist information) is great value, very entertaining and ends in a cool refreshing glass of the product. Brussels is less than 20 minutes away by train - great place to mix Flemish University Town with large Modern European city experiences. " More >

  "It's clean , It's great value (especially if 2 or 3 sharing) , and location next to central train station of Leuven makes the Ibis Budget a really good choice. I recently had a 4 night stay and found the staff helpful and the rooms , although quite basic , spotlessly clean. If you're looking for 4 s..."tar facilities it's the wrong place but if you don't intend to spend all day in your room I'd fully recommend the hotel. Buffet breakfast was good value at 7 euro and is all you can eat style. Hotel is only 300 metres from the station square with plentiful bars and cafes. If like us you just need a base for visiting the area the Ibis Budget has my recommendation. " More >
