It's a comfortable hotel although it's a bit tired in places. Staff are friendly and efficient and the food pretty decent. My husband got the Alcatra and we were both unimpressed with the dish, too salty and the beef was much to dry. The creme brûlée was very fresh and was actually a good size. At first we were very unimpressed with the service. There was only 2 tables with people at them and we had reservations but we still stood there waiting for over 5 minutes waiting to be seated. After about 15 minutes our server finally came and took our order but after a few minutes we grew quite fond of him as for he offered great recommendations and was friendly. Our room was almost at the end of the corridor so if you had health problems it would be better to mention it when booking.
