As there were 12 of us, we were allocated our own bike storage which takes the stress out of wondering whether the bikes would be safe. On our first day, we went on Dante's bike ride (around 50 miles) with a brilliant food and wine stop after the main descent - what a treat! It was also a very good way of getting to know some of the other people in the hotel - particularly good if you are staying on your own. Some of us were also taking part in the spectacular Novi Colli bike race later in the week and this was all smoothly arranged by the hotel.
