The hotel is decorated in a minimalist, nautical style with Sicilian art hanging on the stone walls. Our room looked out on the water and had a private balcony and spa (though the water was not heated since its solar-powered). We dined in the restaurant most afternoons and evenings, and the food was excellent. Straightforward, high-quality, fresh Italian cuisine. The outdoor gym overlooked the water and remains my best experience on a treadmill thus far.   "This Hotel is a little gem. Small, tucked away in the small Neapolitan town of Vico Equense, between Sorrento and Naples. It really is delightful. It is rustic, quaint and very very nice. The first room we were given had a huge balcony, and fabulous views over the bay of Sorrento, but I wanted a b..."ath ! So I asked at reception, and they were kind enough to upgrade me within 2 days to a lovely suite. A room twice the size, with lovely marble fittings and a wonderful large bathroom. Oh and it had an upstairs mezzanine level as well. No extra charge, just because 'they wanted me to enjoy my holiday'. The reception staff here were absolutely wonderful. They couldn't have been kinder and more helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. They offer a fantastic little minibus / taxi service for e1 or e2 which is amazing. Anytime you just ring and they come and get you from the beach, or town or in our case several times from the train station. The food was good, and they have a very funny... " More >
