Coming to the hotel with public transport means a walk from either the metro or bus. If you come by metro then the Cité Scientifice Pr Gabillard stop is the best option. The rooms are reasonably well sound proofed, and closing the bedroom door on the suite rooms gets rid of all noise from the atrium. The studios may not be so good. The road is also quite noisy and we were forced to sleep with the window closed and the cooling on. But we had no trouble sleeping. Overall: A good place to park yourself for any stay longer than 2 or 3 nights and you don't want to be dependent on restaurants only for eating.   "Wasn't too sure about the hotel before we arrived as it looks like a glorified youth hostel on the internet however we were very, very pleasantly surprised! The staff were so friendly, helpful and efficient and the room was clean, modern and had everything we needed.....included a kitchenette with p..."ots and pans so self catering was an option. The hotel is set around an indoor courtyard, which has a bar and lots of chairs and sofas. There is a big fridge with different types of ready meals (really nice ones, not the usual tasteless stuff we get in the uk) and sandwiches etc, and you can order a drink from the bar. When we arrived we were worried it would be noisy as there was music in the bar but once in the room we could barely hear it and they turned it off at about 10:30pm.
