We stayed in one of the well appointed chalets as there was a wedding in the hotel and we absolutely loved it. The grounds are majestic with some great walk..."s. The village of Sneem is a must visit too and you have to try the Sneem black pudding. We dined in the hotel restaurant on the Saturday night fo our stay and the food was served to perfection. I particularly recommend the pork belly. The staff were all incredibly polite and friendly and a special mention must go to Ann O'Sullivan who helped to make our stay.   "Sneem is a lovely village in a fantastic part of Ireland. The Sneem Hotel is a relatively modern hotel a short walk from the village centre. The views at the back of the hotel are of the river, which is picturesque. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are modern in kee..."ping with the hotel and spacious. There is a small gym, sauna and jacuzzi; however, only the gym was functioning when I stayed. I visited with a friend while travelling on motorcycles. There is loads of private parking. A good example of how helpful the hotel staff are is when my friend got soaked in the rain, and the staff took pity, spoke with the owner who took all the sodden clothes to dry in the furnace room overnight. Really appreciated. The breakfast buffet was tremendous and fresh. The bar facilities stayed open until midnight when we were there. Stayed for two great nights here a had a fantastic time exploring Sneem and Kerry. Beautiful area with great people. " More >
