  "Not sure why the previous reviewer had a bad experience. I did pay more for a room with a view and found that not turning up right on check in time made the crowds less but then I had the indoor swimming pool to myself at 8am....Fine dining restaurant had excellent food. Did not stop for hotel break..."fast - they tend to be overpriced and crowded in general. As a resort, it is a challenge not to walk through the lobby in your robe to go to the pool...I didn't but not sure that I would be offended either. Drinks/service in Sublime bar good and earlier those having high tea seemed to be enjoying themselves. Outside could use a paint job + clearer walking paths both to the car parks and a guide to walking in the grounds would have helped.They probably need a greater capacity in the eating and drinking outlets.....otherwise service and standards good - may depend on room though.   "We stayed there for our 30th wedding anniversary and loved it. We were sent a bottle of champagne and a lovely card to wish us a happy 30th anniversary.. We are definitely going back to stay for a longer period next time.. A perfect place to go away with someone special or even with the family..."

  "Lovely room - beautiful view - except for the two holes in the sheer curtains - for a hotel of this quality?? something so simple spoiled the overall room. The bedding and pillows - wow! we had the best nights sleep, Even with other guests being noisy returning to their rooms. We decided to watch a ..."movie, but could not get the system to work - phoned and a staff member turned up about 20 mins later - used what he called a master control and set it up to start to view - again the system would not work - another call- another 20mins - finally the staff member turned up and we asked them to wait until the movie had actually started to make sure it was working - all OK unti close to the end and the movie stopped and returned to the TV channel!! by then we could not be bothered to call for assistance.
