The facilities are great, tennis, gym etc and plenty going on with the evening team who were a lot of fun. The beach had a chilled out vibe and the snorkelling was brilliant, loads of fish and coral and very easy to access, with it's own reef. Food was top quality in all the restaurants.   "Diving on Ellaidhoo is great. The house reef is really nice and is accessible any time of the day. As long as you have a buddy, you don`t need a guide but if you don`t have one (like me) then you can either pair up with another diver (I joined some German divers twice and had a great time) or pay fo..."r the guide to go with you. Charge for the guide is not excessive and actually has many pros. They know very well where the best parts of the reef are so you don`t miss anything. When you go on a boat trip there are always guides diving with you and if you have no buddy of your own,then you buddy up with one of them. I did 12 dives in total 5 of which on the house reef. My favourite dives were Maaga Inside Corner for beautiful macro life, nice landscape and perfect coral in the shallow water, Kiru Thila for the fabulous mantas and house reef at the sunrise. Boat dives normally combine a spot for big fish such as sharks, rays, napoleons, tunas where there isn`t spectacular reef (usually) and ... " More >
