  "Stayed at the Mercury in Dushanbe last week for 4 days. Nice clean hotel with really good security. Around 15 minutes away from the Airport and relatively centrally located. 5 minutes drive away from the best Indian restaurant in the city ( salaam Namaste). The rates can vary between USD 80 and USD ..."100 depending on your negotiating power as well as their occupancy. I would most definitely stay here again considering the other International chain of hotels are unreasonably expensive considering the country itself is relatively in-expensive. The breakfast ( from 7am - 9am) is very basic and the eggs are served COLD. They don't have any arrangement for Lunch or Dinner so one has to either order Southern Fried Chicken ( which delivers to the hotel) or go out and eat. ONE MAJOR TIP : Always carry your passport with you whenever you're out - specially after 10pm ( preferably at all times). " More >

  "The service, food and amenities were excellent. The rooms were clean and nice, but a bit bizarre (especially the lighting). The restaurant is very well suited to business meetings. One of the gift shops has some beautiful paintings by Tajik artists. "
