  "This is a good mid-range hotel in central Riyadh. The rooms are small but clean and reasonably furnished. Bathrooms a little old fashioned. Central location and plenty of taxis mean it is easy to get around compared to some hotels further out. There are other hotels like the Holiday Inn in the same ..."area at same prices and similar rooms etc. What raises this for me is that the service is very good from the reception through to restaurant and other facilities. In the restaurant the buffet rings the changes and the freshly grilled specials each evening were the best option; seafood evening , steak evening etc. I tried the a la carte but this was disappointing with what tasted like reconstituted packet mashed potato - stick to the buffet.   "This Ibis hotel met our needs for a week-long business trip. The staff was always very friendly and accommodating. The on-site restaurant was good and can provide room service at any time. The rooms were clean and in excellent condition, though small. The soundproofing between rooms was incredib..."le and this was among the most quiet hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Most of the rooms don't have a view (of anything other than the adjacent building). The corner rooms on the south end of the building, however, should look right at the Kingdom Tower (and they appeared to be a little bit larger than the inline rooms). As a non-Arabic speaker, it was challenging to reliably get taxi drivers to get to the hotel entrance (which is only accessible through a few narrow streets). If we had a difficult time communicating to our driver, we would just have him drop us at the Kingdom Tower across the street. From there it was a two-minute walk to the hotel lobby.
