The hotel is very conveniently located on Chowrasta (Opp the Raj Bhavan), from where there is also a pedestrian entry/ exit (given that one would do a lot of waking around in Darjeeling, this is a good thought and makes it convenient to get on..." the central road). The architecture of the hotel is amazingly Victorian (they have a Heritage wing that has a great history of its own). The design and layout of the rest of the property is very well blended with the heritage block. You can spend hours going through the some really old pictures of Darjeeling and the culture of the region that are hanging all over the hotel. The best part about the hotel is the staff members who are always there to help the guests and wear a smile all the tine.
