  "We just returned from spending three nights at the Windmill Inn in Surprise while visiting family in the area. This is a beautiful property in a nice location. It is convenient from the freeway and close to restaurants, shops, etc. The grounds are very pretty with a small lake...there is a nice p..."ool area but we didn't use it so I can't comment on that. We had a one bedroom suite, which was very nice...a living room, separate bedroom and a small kitchen area with a microwave and refrigerator. There was a bar area with bar stools if you wanted to eat in the room. It was nicely furnished, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was great! I rated hotel excellent because overall it is. The only thing I think needed improvement was the breakfast. It is advertised as a continental breakfast and actually it is more than that since they have eggs, waffles, breakfast meat and biscuts & gravy.
