  "We booked Los Aires for a family vacation in Feb. 2013. My husband and I, my mother,grandmother and two boys ages 5 & 8 stayed here. It was the perfect place to get away from it all. Steve was very friendly and easy to work with in regards to planning our vacation.The grounds were beautiful and wit..."hing walking distance to some great waterfalls on the property. The house is magnificent! It is very remote so i would recommend renting a 4x4 vehicle. We decided to have the house personnel cook lunch and dinner for us everyday (sent email food request ahead of time). The food was better than going to a restaurant and you don't have to travel back to town. The onsite concierge Vivanna and her husband attended to our every need. My mothers luggage didn't make it on the plane to Costa Rica until the next flight. They made plans to have it delivered to the house the next day.   "We went back to the Villa for 10 days in May of 2013 after 5 wonderful days in Dec 2012. Our experience was once again wonderful. This time we ha a car and were able to explore more of he SW Costa Rican coast from Jaco to Ohochal and found it beautiful, quiet and extremely interesting. The Villa i..."s still operated by a wonderful German expat couple who truly made us feel at home. Even though we had the ability to go elsewhere we ate most of our meals at the Villa. Her breakfast (included) of meat and cheese plate, a fruit plate and bacon and eggs was excellent as were her home cooked dinners and deserts. Again the view is spectacular. Locally, in Quepos, we found a hand made on the premises cigar shop which was well worth the 40k drive. " More >
