  "Stayed at the hotel for a Jeff Dunham show. Reserved a petite mini suite and loved it. Room was spacious and clean. Nice area with a Krueg type coffee machine with lots of choices, even tea. Two bottle of water were also included. The bathroom was gorgeous with a hug Jacuzzi tub, large counter with ..."two sinks. The bed was super comfy!! Had horrible service at the Mexican restaurant, but Manny the manager apologized and took care of our meal. The place was slammed (sold out) because of the show. We had the brunch for breakfast and it was FANTASTIC!! Crab legs, shrimp, Italian station, Asian station, breakfast area, tons and tons of choices!! People were very friendly. Pool area is small but nice. Room tip, ask for a even number room. Our room 501 overlooked the rooftop with AC units humming all day and night. It appears the even numbered rooms overlook the pool area. " More >

  "Life I guess is hit or miss,.After reading some negative reviews I guess I am just fortunate. The rooms other than a suite in Vegas are even nicer than ones you will find on the strip. The staff is friendly and although check in is 3PM, I was able to get in my room by 12:30. I also would recommend v..."isiting the wineries nearby before arriving at the Pala to loosen yourself up. We like to spend the afternoon at the pool ( heated to 80 degrees). When you arrive if your room is not ready you can still use the pool. They will hold your luggage or leave in your car till check in. After enough time at the pool get ready for the Buffet which is just as good as Vegas. There is nothing you would crave that is not here. I overdose on seafood. The rest of the night we head to the machines and hope for the best. The machines I feel are fairly loose but you can have a good night as well as a bad night. Last August my wife and I had a good night, and in Sept we flew to Maui. I love the Pala, for me o...   "The hotel rooms are spotless, large and very welcoming. The housecleaning staff very friendly. However, the beds are lumpy and sheets fly all over the place. The Steak House is pretty good, you could get fat just smelling the wonderful steaks been made. The buffet is spectacular.
