Recently, a glitch occurred on our part with our weekly payment and we needed to nail down the exact date on which we were to vacate. We were given different dates by different staff (highly unusual disorganization, we thought). The management worked diligently over the weekend and discovered our rate had been increased by $10 shortly after we had arrived without our notice. The management team worked together to figure out what we had paid throughout the month and a half we had stayed and learned we actually had a sizable credit.   "It's difficult to add to all of the already glowing reviews of this inn, but I will say that all of the good reviews are true. My husband and I just spent 3 nights and had an incredible time. The location was perfect for day trips to Mt. Tam, Muir Woods, Tomales Bay (the Marshall Store's smoked oyst..."ers were truly memorable), and Napa Valley. Jim and Judy have put a lot of time and effort into their inn and it makes all the difference. The complementary late afternoon wine would be enough, but the sherry in the room is a real classy touch. As other reviews have noted, breakfast is exceptional, although I don't know that anyone has yet commended Jim on his delicious Irish oatmeal with fruit. We stayed in the Grove Suite, which is just off the entry hall. At first we were concerned about possible noise, but the suite turned out to be extremely quiet.
