  "A peaceful place"
  "My family has been coming to the campground which is just across the marina since the 1940's when the forest service owned it. We stayed here recently, and the Resort part is really nice. When my folks were coming to this area to camp, we always thought of the cabins as the "Rich people" part. N..."ow we stay here, but don't feel "rich". they have several cabin type structures, and some almost apartment like places near the beach. We stayed in one of those, and what vacation. It was probably one of the most relaxing times I had on a vacation. There really isn't anything to do other than relax. The kids had a great time on the beach and going in the lake. they could go exploring over on the other side beach. It was just a great time. South shore is also right down the Hwy if you want to go for a nice dinner or go gambling. It sure has changed a lot since I was coming here in the 70's, but the relaxing part of it has remained.
