The buildings are neither historic nor beautiful, but with the setting by the river, lovely, well-cared for buildings and grounds, super, super clean rooms ..."and hot tubs, and the very caring, hands-on, friendly owners Dave and Chad, the place definitely has (cliche following)---soul. The overall experience at the Lodge is great with clean, cozy rooms, excellent toiletries, coffee pot in rooms, refrigerator and microwaves, king or queen beds with good mattresses. Overall a great buy for the price, even at regular rates. Ouray, Colorado is the most beautiful place in the whole State of Colorado in our opinion. It has to be seen to believe. " More >
