It is hard to back boat up to room because of the curb created by gravel to blacktop. The updating is super. Flat screens and the direct Tv box is perfect! This owner-operator truly knows what it takes to beat franchise operations...provide outstanding customer service and totally modern rooms for an astonishingly low price. I calle..."d the motel prior to my stay to add a night to my reservation. The type of room I'd initially booked wasn't available for the extra night, so I was put into a King rather than a Queen room for both nights. Even so, I was charged the King rate for only one night. Though the savings were minimal, I appreciated the generosity and thoughtfulness for the customer that this demonstrated. All the rooms were redone in the last 6 months, and the room's furnishings look like they belong in a Garden Inn.
