The proprietors, Jeff and Jynell make you feel completely at home in this lovely, quaint, immaculately maintained residence just two blocks from the Vineyard Haven ferry dock and bus depot. The house is beautif..."ully decorated and located on a quiet street just off the town’s main thoroughfare. Our room, #6, was spacious, bright and comfortable, with it including a fireplace and king size bed. The breakfast prepared by Jeff is outstanding and on our visit included homemade yogurt parfaits with fruit and a secret ingredient, grilled ham and egg sandwiches, and an assortment of pastries and fresh fruits. Fresh coffee, homemade chocolate cookies and fruit were also available throughout the day.   "We stayed here for 1 night during "early season"- May 13th. The hotel was clean, spacious and the staff treated us very well. They were very helpful with getting us a taxi, letting us check in early, letting us know what restaurants were open for the season yet, holding our bags after we checked out..." because we wanted to bike the island for the day. The location was close to the ferry, stop and shop and coffee! We would definitely return to Mansion House after the busy season is over. Looking forward to using the spa next time. " More >
