  "We were here last February for my son's birthday. At first I was skeptical because of the negative press they've been getting recently but I was relieved when we got there. We stayed at the deluxe room (new building) and it was spacious. Two queen size beds with a private veranda that's just a coupl..."e of steps to the beach. The bathroom had a big tub and lots of towels and some toiletries. The tv and fridge is quite old, but it doesn't take away from the rustic charm of the place. The beach was awesome. White-ish sand, the kids had the best time picking up seashells and making sand castles. The water was clear enough to see the fishes that were swimming with us. We got tiny pieces of bread and the fishes took turns tugging on it. The kids were so happy to be swimming that close to the fishes.   "My family had so much fun staying at The Lighthouse Marina Resort. The place is cozy though it's a bit pricey but it is worth it! The staff are very accommodating, helpful, and indeed exceed the excellence in service! Keep it up! Looking forward to stay again!"
