My wife like this hotel was it saved 100 dollars in this economy. Hotel did not have continental breakfast but did not care. Hotel Manager pointed out some local places which were not bad.   "We had a lovely stay at The Country Inn in Benson, MN! Clean environment, friendly staff, excellent service, nice continental breakfast and attached bar with friendly management and staff. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax this is the hotel for you! The hot tub was nice and hot ( not luke..."warm like most hot tubs), and the jets provided plenty of pressure. :) I've stayed at the other hotel in Benson called Benson Inn, and I had the most awful experience ever! Sure it's cheap but you get what you pay for, and even that's an understatement.... Anyway, pay the extra money and stay at The Country Inn in Benson, MN. It's so worththe extra $30!!!   "Well-run, clean and usually quiet"
  "This is the best motel in town and I've stayed her 5+ times with no major issues. The rooms are spotless and the west half of the motel sets on a residential street while the front end is set back far enough off US 12 to not be a major issue. If you're a light sleeper request the west side. Occas..."ional train whistles might be a problem for some but they are usually quiet at night. The breakfast is adequate, nothing spectacular but the usual mixture of juices, cereals, fruits, and coffee. This motel can fill up on summer weekends for weddings and reunions so plan ahead. Beds are good, pillows one size fits all (when will motels learn?), and the water is quite soft so you do feel like a salamander when you get out of the shower. Occasionally the prices seem high than warranted by the location which seems odd in a town where the tallest building is a grain elevator. " More >
