"The staff is friendly, and the baked treats are great! My husband was envious of the thick, soft, fluffy towels. We stayed in the Caboose room, called because it's at the back. Very, very quiet and spotlessly clean. This was my first stay in a B and B and it won't be my last because of Connie and ..."co. I hope to come with my granddaughter and stay there again someday.

"We stayed at the Little House Inn this last weekend, and had a great experience. We had originally called and set up that we would check in around 8:30 pm on Friday night, and ended up getting there at 10:45 because of weather. The gentleman was waiting for us in the office, was very courteous and n..."ice, and our room was nice and toasty warm for us (it was snowing outside). They are in the middle of remodeling right now, so the motel was not perfect, but the service was great, and the room was nice and clean. There was not an ice machine available to the public, but when asked, the manager got us ice out of his apartment in the motel (he said they'd had a problem with theft).
Free Wifi, cable, local phone, coffee maker were all available. There was also an alarm clock with radio available (it was kept in the dresser drawer). All rooms are on ground floor, outdoor entrance, parking right by the room doors.
Great location, there's a gas station and a resturant right across the roa...

"Pros: Connie was very kind and the rooms were clean and nice. We appreciated having a TV in our room. After several days camping in the Ozarks, it was nice to just veg out. We also enjoyed the baked treats at the end of the day.
Cons: The shower heads don't offer very good pressure...more of a th..."in mist. Also, the walls are very thin. When other guests arrived, it wasn't so quiet anymore. Thankfully there didn't seem to be any night owls in the inn, but it bugged me to hear other peoples' conversations. Fans in the rooms might help create some white noise which is nice to have in an old building.
Overall, a nice place if you're going to be in the area. It's just down the road from the Wilder home, so that was perfect for us. Connie and family are all very kind!
