  "What a wonderful relaxing day/evening we had here at the Inn. The owners were very pleasant and greeted us with a smile. Had a delicious dinner and Larry wanted to make sure things were cooked the way we liked it. Had a "birthday" dessert and all staff and patrons in the tavern sang as well. What a..."n enjoyable dinner. Sat in the front room after with the fireplace and again Larry asked if we needed the heat turned up. Offered to bring drinks or snacks if we would like them.   "Perfect Winter Weekend!"
  "We spent a cold, snowy weekend here in February and it couldn't have been nicer. The house itself is wonderful. We stayed in Lila's room and really loved it. The furnishings are charming and the bed was extremely comfortable. We didn't spend too much time in the room since we had a busy weekend ..."of hiking and socializing, but it certainly would have been a nice place to just hang out, relax and read a good book. The public spaces are also really nice. The living room is cozy and is a perfect spot to settle down in for afternoon tea. If you like cats like we do, it's a bonus to have one of them consent to curling up on your lap for a snooze. The dining room is very comfortable and provides the perfect setting for breakfast. Which brings me to the food... We've stayed at a number of B&B's, but none that could come close to matching the food here. Sandra is such a great cook!   "Total quality. The location puts you near sites in the Lakes Region of NH and also Franconia Notch State Park. Our stay was before Memorial Day weekend, so still somewhat of season, but our hosts were energetically putting the finishing touches on preparing for the upcoming season. They were dili..."gently professional in making sure everything was perfect. Breakfasts, in a word, fantastic. Unique and varied but flexible to tastes. Awesome scones. Our hostess was very knowledgeable of local sites and places to eat (Tavern 27, for the win). Both are avid hikers also, if you are looking for an informed base-camp. Lots of thoughtful amenities and extra effort to be very "Green-friendly". I'm a guy, so we stayed in a room with a bed. My wife picked out the "Sewing Room" (I think) for our stay, and she was very pleased with the decor and colors and stuff. New Hampshire was great and we look forward to returning to see more, hike more, and stay here again. " More >
