  "This was our second time staying at the MVG and we typically stop here and the Mt. Washington hotel when we camp in the area for drinks and a meal. While it is no Mt. Washington (service and appeal), it is a very nice stay. The golf course was full of weeds and dandelions, which was surprising to se..."e, especially at $70 for two to play 9 holes. The food was excellent, but charging $11 for a glass of wine seems excessive. We were told on numerous occasions from the staff that this is their first day or week at the resort. One staff member mentioned that turnover was high. Overall it was a great stay, the indoor pool was warm, the service good and the rooms clean. Everyone was friendly and customer-focused.
