The staff was friendly and responsive to our needs and, in particular, the bar staff treated us like family during our most recent stay. Ms. Ann, Carrie, Achmed and the other ladies and gentlemen at the bar treated our daughter like a little princess, which made our stay so much easier - especially since jet lag caused us to spend many an early-morning hour in the hotel bar. I hope you can imagine how helpful and how simply nice it was to have these wonderful ladies hold our baby while I ate - it was the type of kindness that grows from genuinely kind people, and the Lewis Grand has those people! It's located in a residential area and is a SHORT walk to Fields Avenue (bars, food and fun,) Bayanihan Park & the Salakot Arch, and SM City Clark mall. Comfortable beds, bathroom sink, toilet, shower, air conditioner, flat screen tv (and like 90 channels)--all in perfect working order. They have wifi, plenty of seating for socializing, a bar with anything you need to drink and a menu on hand from a local restaurant that will deliver food 24 hours a day. The very friendly staff makes you feel welcome and is happy to accommodate all of your needs with a smile (they will even do your laundry and may offer to show you around the city!) I stayed in the old original wing with a balcony view room. The swimming pools are spectacular and are spotl..."essly clean. My room overlooked the larger of the two pools and provided much entertainment day and night. Rooms in the old wing are worn. Water pressure and hot water availability is not the best. Curtain rod would fall down every time I opened the curtains. One of the two phones in the room was dead when I arrived and took two days to get replaced. I never got the DVD player to work and when I requested it be looked at I was told I probably had purchased bad DVD’s (they played fine on my computer though). The ceiling fan has a multispeed control on the wall however mine only had two speeds, off and very high. Wifi access was spotty at best however there is also wired Internet a... " More >
