We arrived Sunday afternoon with 2 other couples and check-in was a breeze. They greeted us with warm smiles and a nice cold drink. They helped us with all our bags and took them right to our room. All of our rooms were ready and actually my buddy requested a room close to the beach since his wife had a little trouble walking and they gave him an upgraded suite in building 6. Food.   "The Honeymoon of dreams"
  "We were at the CRT from 24th April - 6th May 2013. We picked this place for our honeymoon because we wanted an all-inclusive, adults-only resort with a difference. Neither of us have stayed at all-inclusives before...we have now been converted! The grounds were stunning, we both love the outdoors..." so it was magical feeling like you were surrounded by a bit of the jungle with the 'wildlife' wandering around (I just wish so many people didn't feed them). When picking up other travellers for a tour to Coba, we both commented on how we preferred the winding paths and enclosed feeling of the resort rather than the wide open expanses of manicured lawns at other hotels. The beach was awesome, the softest sand I have ever felt, and the sea was crystal clear. For 10 out of 11 days we were there, the sea had quite a few waves...nothing too strong apart from 1 day when bikini bottoms had to be held onto!   "Wife and I have traveled to many all inclusive in Mexico and other countries. CRT gets high marks in most areas. Size Smaller than the mega resorts but large enough to offer diversity in dining options. Adults only is a plus also. Beach, pool, lunch buffet and another restaurant at one end ..."with the lobby and other restaurants and a bar at the other. Rooms are in the middle with a very nice path through the jungle connecting it all. Rooms Clean and comfortable. No ocean views from any room. Six buildings, three facing the other three. Jungle setting so if you like it bright get an upper floor. Buildings 1, 3 and 5 get the afternoon sun and the others get the morning sun. Beach VERY nice beach. Thick white powder sand. No rocks on beach or in the water so no water shoes needed. Did not even see any seaweed wash up to be cleaned away. Plenty of shade from palapas or palms but you had to be down early to snag a prime spot. Good walks in both directions. Dependin... " More >
