Just make sure you are organised with dinner plans, most places stop serving food at 8.30pm! On my second visit with my boyfriend, we decided to stay in the four poster room and make a romantic weekend of it. My only slight criticism is that the bed, although gorgeous, is slightly on the small side. On my first stay which was during the quiet period in March, they upgraded us completely free of charge to the room with a sea view above the dining room which was fantastic with amazing views over the Farne Islands.
