  "The place is really beautiful and everyone is quite friendly. There are a few things that it might be helpful to know ahead of time. It wasn't an issue for us but it might have been for others. 1. They have a large dog. He's quite friendly, but if you have allergies or a phobia, you should know. ..."2. The stairway to the bedrooms upstairs is very steep and narrow, with a turn in the middle. Something to think about if you are bringing a lot of luggage. 3. The room called "Bedroom #3" has no closet. So there is no place to hang clothes if you need that. There are a couple of pegs on the walls and a hanger or two but if you have more than that you should choose a different room. We really didn't get the full "treatment" that Becky is known for because she was VERY sick while we were there so her sister and mom did all the cooking. Breakfasts were fine, but nothing special. I asked at reception if I needed a password and was told no, but I could only access the Marriott website. For dinner we went to Eddie Merlots and it was very, very nice. Expect to pay $50 per plate with drink, main and shared dessert. EM's is about a five minute drive down Polaris Parkway from the hotel. " More >
