  "For 4 months this was my home away from home. I had fire damage and chose to be close to my house so I could keep an eye on repairs. Stay was a pleasant overall experience during a trying time. Staff was excellent from check-in to check-out. Hotel is set back from Highway 26 and my room was on the b..."ack side so it was usually quiet. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about Sandy - even to a 14 year resident! Conveniently located with Safeway, deli, DMV, Figaro's pizza, hair salon, fast food restaurants, etc out your front door. Tad further down - a 10 minute walk or mini drive - is an excellent Italian pizza place - Paola's, Stephanie's a breakfast must and Tollgate, an all around family restaurant. During my stay I saw many a skiier. Best Western offers a discounted ski package and less than an hour to the action. Makes financial sense since places up the mountain are quite spendy.
