  "What a find! This is a very lovely B&B run by the delightful Lorraine & family. Our room was spotless & very comfortable. Enjoyed two good breakfasts. It was a great choice as it was close to where we needed to be. I would highly recommend Whaddon Grove."

  "Stayed one night but wisshed we could have stayed longer. Set in a really quiet rural location and ideal if you want peace and quiet. We stayed in Room 2 with a double Jucuzzi, it was excellent. Staff, food and cleanliness all excellent. We hope to return and stay longer."

  "I found the 3 course set menu excellent value for money (VFM) This booking was made by my sister who lives close by and although my partner & I were not staying in the Conigre's comfortable looking rooms we did enjoy a very nice evening meal. For twenty three quid there were about four choices of..." starter, main & sweet which proved to be well presented & sufficient portion sizes. My only criticism would be the lack of draught beer (being a beer drinking ex rugby playing northerner) The wine list was hotel average from about fifteen to twenty five pounds a bottle. The proprietor was friendly & enquired as to our experience of that evening. I was offered a dessert which was not on the set menu as the creme' brule' was off & I was pleasantly suprised to be served lemon merangue, this was complete with a flaming birthday candle! One of my relatives was not overly impressed by the pate starter which resembled potted meat, but my salmon starter was delicious. " More >
