  "We arrived down Saturday afternoon and were met by a very friendly lady on reception who gave me some directions for Byron and a map and also explained how to get to the beach using the private entrance. We stayed in room 14 and it was great. Big room with large bed, tv, tea making facilities, toas..."ter and air-con. We actually had to use the heating as it was quite chilly in the evening. The room heated up very quickly. There was plenty of hot water and plenty of space in the bathroom. I was delighted to see they'd provided a hairdryer as I'd left mine at home. It's only a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants from the motel. When checking out the lady on reception was very friendly and made checking out very quick and easy.   "Victoria's at Wategos is an absolutely stunning guest house, just a stone's throw from Wategos beach, just outside Byron Bay. My fiance and I had an amazing weekend staying there and I would definately recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a special weekend away in a lovely location. ..."The villa is Tuscan-style and quite stunning from the outside. Inside the interior is beautifully decorated and the facilities are excellent. We stayed in a spa room, which was a good size, with a massive spa bath in the bathroom. The decor was beautiful, and little touches like fresh fruit, port and chocolates in the room were lovely. We ate breakfast in house on Sunday, which consisted of a gorgeous fruit platter with cheeses and yoghurt, followed by a cooked breakfast. All accompanied by a glass of bubbly - perfect!   "Love this resort as it is stunning and relaxing however a little unfair for paying guests whom are not great swimmers as the pool too deep. Every resort I have visited both here and overseas have had a pool with a shallower end . What is the point of coming here if I can't use the pool ! "
