It has one of the most beautiful views anywhere. The staff is friendly. It has a large, open deck right on the ocean--so people may walk by your window from time to time (one of the complaints I read was upset by this). There was a brief period last year when they were doing construction. It was not a big deal. The pictures on TripAdvisor are exactly accurate. If you are comfortable with the pictures, I would ignore the negative reviews. The rooms are actually a little nicer now.
