We had taken the 7.30am British Airways flight from LGW so we arrived at the hotel just after 10am. Desp..."ite our early arrival the staff were able to give us a room as soon as we arrived. The room was pretty standard, decent bathroom, comfortable bed etc but the main feature was the view. All of the hotel's sea view room rooms have stunning panoramic views of the beach and St. Brelade's Bay and the sound of the waves in the evenings was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent (see photo). All in all a hotel that I have no concerns about recommending very highly. " More >

We had a rear room over looking the car park but a wonderfull room plenty of space three armchairs and ample wardrobe space.Please note that the hotel does not have a car park and you need to pay during the day but a minor problem. MEALS breakfast buffet style but plenty of choice and good quality. EVENING meal we had not booked half board but after eating there the first night we then ate in the restaurant each night because the food was so good.Had we have booked half board we would have got some of the meals cheaper you can upgrade from the set menu for a small supplement.STAFF what can be said all of them were brilliant a...   "We stayed in Windmills hotel for a week in the second week in May. This was our first visit to the hotel but not our first visit to Jersey - we were very pleased with our choice and will definately return here on our next visit to Jersey. The room: we booked a standard garden view room - the roo..."m was very spacious and comfortable with a small (but more than adequate) bathroom. The room was much superior to the hotels in Jersey we previously stayed in (which included 2 four star hotels). My only regret is not booking a sea view room to take full advantage of the wonderful view. There was some "squeaky floorboard" noise from the upstairs rooms (we were on the 1st floor), but this did not disturb us at all - for anyone looking for complete quiet, this should be a consideration. The food: we didn't eat in the hotel at all apart from breakfast, as we were keen to try out the many restaurants that Jersey has to offer, so can't comment on the food.
