Kirriemuir itself is a bit of a quaint red sandstone town with a marginal hotel and a statue of Peter Pan as one of the main attractions, but it does provide a main gateway to Glen Clova which easily competes for the prize of pretti..."est glen of Scotland. It was nice to have high quality accommodation just outside of it. Elizabeth and Willy were excellent hosts - we stayed in the family room which was very comfortable and spacious (except perhaps for the somewhat small but functional shower). We were very happy that a great 3 course meal was offered. Great home cooking and served in a nice dining/sitting room with great views to the south. Will stay here again if we'd come back to this part of Scotland. " More >
