  "Great value and great location! Ski in and out"
  "We stayed at Club Med Avoriaz over Easter week. On arrival at the resort, we were greeted by friendly staff who helped load the luggage into a waiting snow cat. This then transported us to the hotel. It was about 11 o clock am and our rooms were ready for us. Checking in was brilliant. The rooms ..."are quite small. We had two, with an interconnecting door. Very clean and everything worked. Had lunch in the buffet, got ski gear and pottered about. Wifi costs 20 euros for the week which wasn't bad really. The all inclusive is very good. Saves a fortune, though does mean you tend to meet back after lessons for lunch rather than dine out. The dinner is buffet, which is what it is really. I'm not a big fan, but it was good food, quite varied and well done, including cheese etc. The staff are very helpful. Kids club was well managed. A few tears but well handled.   "Beautiful village but not my favourite club med"
  "We have stayed at several club meds - peisey x 2, La Plagne x 2, Tignes x 1, out of them all this was my least favourite hotel, but that was to be expected as it was a 3 tridents compared to 4 tridents. Having said that the village was my favourite, it was very pretty and lovely to have a walk into ..."(few minutes from the hotel). The food was not a scratch on Peisey and neither were the rooms but then again it was cheaper and rated accordingly. Having said that we had a great holiday and met some lovely people, my 13 and 9 year olds had a great time. To actually get onto the slope was a bit of a pain as although you could ski from the door it was a bit flat so you had to push yourself along for 10 minutes. You could ski straight back (once you get used to the place where you turn off, , which is a small turn and can be easily missed).   "My holiday started with a short drive from Geneva of about 2 hours. It was snowing lightly the day I arrived, with blue skies and it was a beautiful sunny day. First impressions walking into the Club Med here in Avoriaz were not so great. The first ground was simply elevators, it was stifling hot an..."d stank a little of rot and mildew. There was a line to get into the elevator to get to the reception but hot chocolates were on hand! There were however 5 GO staff ready to help including the Chef Du Village. We promptly had our ski passes for a week after a few deliberations (the usual with club med) and were whisked off to our rooms. Yes the rooms were small but it is a ski resort, and ski resorts are notorious for this so i was expecting it. They were however warm and very clean! What I found odd was that the GO's live in rooms just across the corridor from us on most levels.
