We ordered from the in room menu and enjoyed what we had, pretty reasonable prices for a hotel. Our only moan about this visit was we ordered chips as a side order and got precisely 11!!! A cone of chips, not acceptable for £3.00, a decent size bowl please or tell customers they are getting 11 chips before they order so they can get something else........ " More >

  "Stayed one night after a trip to Legoland, which was about a 25 min drive away. The hotel seems new and as such the room was tiny but clean and functional. The bathroom was a showeroom and really tiny. The basic floor space wasn't even a metre square and the shower cubicle is about 3 foot x 2. The w..."hole bathroom resembles a ships toilet but again it was clean. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, the choice wasn't great and going down at 8.45 on a Tuesday it seemed all the good staff was gone and we took what was left. Car parking is free but the car park got very busy and I struggled to get a space. Overall, a good place to rest before the long drive home but you wouldn't want to be tere for your holiday.   "Here is the Truth this time on a road trip to good old blighty! So I decided to choose this hotel because of ease to get to Heathrow on the Monday. I found this hotel extremely hard to find from the train station & since I was walking there were no signs even when I was actually just 2 minutes..." away. Found it to be a bit pricey at 80 pounds a night on a Sunday also I found the restaurant a bit pricey hence I walked into town. I think for 80 pounds maybe free wifi or breakfast offer incentives to stay on your not so busy nights like a Sunday. Room very clean although I did smell an odor of smoke, perhaps this was a smoking room originally. Excellent points are without a doubt the Staff I thought they were a credit to the Hotel. All & all average to very good, because of the staff you got a Very Good otherwise Average. " More >
