  "There is something to be said for "last minute"reservations as this is what we experienced during our stay at Artist's Loft. After realizing that it was going to be a 4 hour drive to Whidbey Island....our original destination...we jumped on the I Phone only to connect with Jaclyn at Artist' Loft......."what a serendipitous connection. We booked 2 nights and arrived to find an oasis in the forest. A lovely hand-built cabin like room setting appointed like home. Every detail was looked after from breakfast for 3set up in the spotless full kitchen to wonderful bath products to an adorable wood burning stove. Our hostess was ready with all kinds of suggestions on where to eat and what to do....all in all it was a most memorable visit and stay and all "by accident" .
