  "I found this place on line when we were planning a trip to Yakima, Washington, and I am glad we did. It is a wonderful hotel, modern, bright and clean. It is right downtown and within walking distance of many attractions. The staff is smart, alert, and friendly. The price of the room was very go..."od and although we did not make use of any of the hotel's features (pool, fitness area, restaurant) other guests were doing so and appeared to be enjoying themselves. I had been given a good rate by an employee on-line but, but when we arrived (I had not made a reservation) the front desk clerk found us an even cheaper rate. A room with a king size bed was no extra charge as it in in some hotels. There is a secure underground parking lot (rather a steep driveway into it) and an elevator from there to the lobby.   "Another excellent time at the Ahtanum Inn. The staff is awesome and many have remained the same. The rooms this year seemed exceptionally cleaned by the staff. We stay in the suites poolside and they are a great place for families to stay and watch their kids in the courtyard (Grass) as well as at ..."the pool. The free breakfast was great includes sausage hash browns scrambled eggs waffles (strawberry) and biscuits and gravy (my favorite) along with all the cold stuff. Kudos to all who made this a great experience for all of our team families.   "We arrived at the Comfort Suites tired from packing and traveling all day. The young lady at the desk told me that it was fine that my husband uses a scooter and has a service dog, Henry, an English Mastiff. She arranged for a room that really suited our needs, explained where the laundry and dog wa..."lking were located and gave me a big smile. The rest of the staff was just as helpful, giving me directions to places and doing things like help move chairs in the dining area so the scooter and Henry, who weighs 200 pounds would fit. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful even though I could see they were busy with other customers and activities. It started our trip off really well. " More >
