(make sure to reserve a site if it is a holiday weekend) We stayed at a pull up tent site and it was just the right size for us. There are bath/wash rooms for each section of the campground and we nev..."er had an issue waiting for anything, even though we went on one of the busy times of the year. The sites are spread out enough so you do get some piece and quite but are not to far apart you have to walk a long way to the wash room. The one thing I would complain about is there is no close hiking, but there is a trail to get to seneca rocks or its about a 3 minute drive. I rated this site "excellent" overall not only because what was stated above but this is exactly what you need to go camping.If you want more, stay in a hotel, if you want less stay at Spruce Knob Campground!   "We go to seneca shadows camp ground a few times a year, though for me and husband its a 3 hour drive to get there; its totally worth it. Beautiful views of the Seneca rocks, especially if you get a camp site on top of mountain in the open field. Moon shines beautifully on the rocks at night. The sit..."es are seperated far from one another for privacy, and a 1/8 mile is a cute restaurant and camping store. Busy quant little town, with people watching. Theres also plenty of hikes and trails to go out and be adventurous. A stay at the campground is only $15 . A steal for such beauty! " More >
