Did not know why this happened, and since I was not familiar with the Boarders brand, I was certainly concerned that the past quality of the hotel would not be up to par. Additionally, having read Trip Advisor reviews, appears that the Super 8 just down the road was rated higher. We went ahead and booked our stay for Saturday night, February 9. After our day of skiing and tavern hopping, we checked into the hotel around 6:30 PM. From a first appearance standpoint, the hotel looked EXACTLY as I had remembered it (stayed there 1 year ago). With the recent snow, the parking lot could have been a bit better plowed/shoveled, but I am probably reaching here with a complaint. Ins... " More >

  "My wife and I stayed at the Boarders Inn from February 15th to the 18th for a short skiing weekend at Nordic Mountain. We were in one of the suite rooms with a mini-kitchen. It was a great room. The appearance was clean and up-to-date, and the bed was very comfortable. My wife has been having pr..."oblems sleeping through the night at home, but when were at Boarders she didn't stir once! Water pressure in the shower was excellent as well. The suite was very spacious and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our stay. The lobby area was also very nice. It was pleasant to see people talking and enjoying each others company in a relaxing environment during the evening hours by a fire. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast in the mornings was very well put together. Eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins, juices, coffee, cereal, even waffles.
