  "Just finished a wonderful weekend--4 days and 3 nights-- with quilting friends at the "Mill" and everyone was so impressed. Ruth made sure everything was just right. The day before she met with me and tables were set up, irons and boards ready, extension cords out. Was at our beckon call if neede..."d. There were 14 of us from North Dakota, Minnesota, Waupaca area, Milwaukee area and Westby natives. The condos were clean and gave plenty of room if anyone needed to step away from their machines for a bit or if a movie was calling. Plenty of bathrooms in each condo and by the work room. A beautiful job to refurbish a piece of history rather than demolish it. One friend was pleased as punch to have the handicap area since she was still rehabbing a broken hip. Guests enjoyed the downtown area as well--creamery, antiques, good small town restaurant, gift shops, plus some neighboring town shopping. Thanks so much for everything Ruth.   "My husband and I stayed in the "Garden Room" while in the area to visit family. The Westby House was a lovely B&B with nice extras like hair dryers in the rooms, TVs and toiletries. Mike and Marie were warm, gracious hosts and the breakfasts were to die for. Our favorite item had to the the poppy..."seed pancakes with seasoned oranges and sweetened cream cheese on top! We felt appreciated and pampered, and would love to stay at The Westby House again. " More >
