  "Our room was freshly decorated and smelled nice. What surprised us is how huge the room was! In fact, we had spent the night before in one of the upscale hotels in the State Park and this room was quite a bit better - and $50 cheaper! The bathroom was fresh and clean and looked brand new. There ..."was a full-size kitchen area with plenty of cupboards, a full-size double sink, microwave, and full-size fridge. A table and two chairs make it an overall nice place to spend a week or two. The onsite manager was quick to respond to our needs and gave us an incredible rate of $39 plus tax for two people! In Thermopolis, you won't find a lower rate than that... and this room was huge, comfy, and the mattresses were good (not great, but we slept well). We missed it while we were there, but they were getting ready to open up an onsite Mexican restaurant in the main motel building.   "My husband and I stayed at the Days Inn on May 4-6th for a quick get away weekend. I must say, I usually don't expect much for this price range of hotels, but we were happy to find something open and that let us have our dog. Wow, were we surprised. Our stay was excellent. The entire staff w..."as so accommodating, friendly, efficient and helpful. We would especially like to thank Annie at the front desk, who got us an early check in so we didn't have to drive around for an extra 3 hours with the dog in the car! We had an excellent time in the Safari Lounge and the staff there was wonderful. I would especially like to acknowledge Jake, Andrea and I'm sorry to forget the other bartender's name (but I do remember she has twin boys, so I'm sure you can figure it out!). Tom and I have worked a lot in the hotel and restaurant business in some very nice resort towns, and I could say that the service was better than what we usually get in 4 and 5 star hotels.   "After visiting the hot spring in Saratoga, we drove to Thermopolis. We examined the free State-run pool as well as the two paid, private ones on either side of it. Then we decided to stay at the Days Inn which has its own hot pool that is free to guests. The water was hot and smelled of sulfur...." My favorite! It was so relaxing even though it was snowing that day. We got the package that they had going on which entitled us to 2 nights stay, coupons for a free Prime Rib dinner each, and coupons for a free glass of wine each.
