Remarkably, the place was even more beautiful than we remembered! The main house had been exquisitely remodeled/redecorated..." and, though we didn’t think it possible, the immense property was even more impressively landscaped (and ecologically minded) than before. And, as much as we loved the incomparable tranquility, privacy…and break from our 3 young children…we couldn’t help but think, while we were there, how much the kids would love the property. A wonderful place to unwind, both body and soul, yet conveniently located for sight seeing, water sports, and sun worshipping. The estate is just a short drive to the unspoiled beaches and a world-class botanical garden; Hanalei for shopping/dining and Princeville for the spectacular golf courses. I have traveled to the islands many, many times but Kauai and especially the Kilauea area added a whole new dimension to "Hawaii." My only regret is that I left too soon.
