  "we took our granddaughter there for her High School graduation gift in February..we are DVC members and share holders in this resort..if we weren't we would still feel the same..this is a beautiful place and you don't even have to leave the resort to have fun and find things to do..the pools are gr..."eat and the snorkeling is awesome even though it is a contained salt water tank..while you are in there you don't feel like it is contained..the two bedroom condo we stayed in was lovely, quiet, with a view to die for..everything worked well, the shower was a fun surprise for us all. The food is a little high but we went to the base and bought our supplies for the week we were there..the cast members were helpful, pleasant as you would expect from Disney..we can't wait to go back..   "Great Hotel - Needs One Thing Addressed"
  "I stayed at Aulani in a 2 bedroom villa facing the pool. It couldn't have been a better location. Everything was great and I don't need to repeat what every other member already added. However there is one big problem with this resort that needs to be address. The waterslide area is very dangero..."us. The steps leading up to the slides are extremely slippery. Every single day I was there I saw somebody fall (sometimes minutes apart). Also the area where you place your tube into the slide is extremely slippery and people go down there all the time. Lifeguards sometimes help. Some lifeguards were great, others could care less. We saw one lady get cut badly. The second issue with the water slides, is the slide without a tube. You go down completely in the dark and it's a great ride. However there doesn't seem to be a weight or height restriction. Kids that couldn't be more than 2 were going down with life vests on.   "We took two of our sons and their families. Kids 4 and under. It was spectacular. The adults loved it. The kids loved it. It is Disney to perfection but not Disney in your face. The food was very good at the sit down restaurants. The poolside food was good but not great. The rooms are very n..."ice. Very well soundproofed. The hotel was 100% booked on two days of our visit. The pool chairs were a little hard to come by. They have a bunch of new deck space and poolside stuff under construction. They will need it when the hotel is full. I liked it so much I bought a timeshare for this property. We will be back frequently. " More >
