  "Giving all 5 stars. Stayed here at least 4 times in the last 10 years. Reason is that this KOA is my favorite of all the KOA's we've stayed at. Staff is great! Location secluded and quiet. Just such a peaceful place. Not to mention the Badlands is also my favorite park and I've been to alot."

  "We stayed in the Badlands Budget Host in July 2012 on our way out to Glacier National Park. Usually we camp in the campground in BNP; however, we did not want to pack all of our gear for a one night stay. The motel had an older décor, the rooms were clean, the price was right (I believe it was aro..."und $90.00 for 4 adults in the summer season), and it was close to the park. Not only that, I saw a wonderful sunrise over the Badlands. It is literally at the foot at the park, and I would recommend this property for anyone who wanted to visit the park for more than a few hours and did not want to camp. I would recommend this over staying in Wall, SD as it's just too commercialized for me. One note, they do not have TVs, so if you are a TV junkie this is not the place for you...but who would be watching TV when you could be outside enjoying the beauty? " More >

  "Adequate"
  "It's a little rundown (perhaps bordering on shabby), but it's perfectly adequate. The best part of this hotel is the location. The banana nut muffins were great at breakfast. Note: the hotel is very close to the Badlands Park, but not really within walking distance."
