  "Booked this hotel for a wedding in the area and couldn't have been more pleased. The location is a convenient 10 minutes from downtown and less then 5 minutes from the highway. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the minute we checked in. The entire hotel ..."was incredibly clean and tidy. Our room was a king suite and was absolutely huge! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent, and there were plenty of spare towels, pillows, and linens in the room. We spent time in the indoor pool and spa while we were there and really enjoyed ourselves. The pool was clean and cool and the spa was relaxing. Breakfast (included!) was phenomenal! I understand updates and upkeep must go on, and while the work was not terribly intrusive to me it wasn't ideal to say the least. The positives of this hotel are what you would expect - absolut..."ely great views (if you don't end up on the first floor as we were initially), a friendly staff and plenty of help around when you need it. Our stay did not get off to a great start - we were given a room on the first floor in a wing that took quite a while to walk to. I could tell the view would be non-existent from a scan outside the hotel but I figured we could always enjoy the view from the lobby, etc. Anyway, of course both keys did not work, and as long as I was going to walk back I decided to ask for a better location on the other side of the property.
