  "I'd heard about Nemacolin for years by a former boss with the spa coming highly recommended. Time would not allow us to stay and take advantage of the spa but I wanted to stop by to see the resort. We decided to eat there and when we arrived we were informed the Tavern was open. Lunch was very go..."od and the staff was very helpful as we tried to find our way there. To get to the Tavern (near the spa) one has to walk through the length of the entire resort. It's interesting to see the differences in décor in each of the sections of the resorts. I may return to stay one day and take time to take advantage of the spa options. Until then, I enjoyed seeing this interesting, and very different, resort near Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. The food was very good. We ordered stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and the chef sent out an second plate of two because he decided the mushrooms were too small that day. Nice touch. Very pleased with food and service. Again, personal attention was key to making this fun for our entire group with a range of experience levels. We will definitely be doing this again.
